Arunacahal Pradesh Public Service Commission invites applications from eligible candidates for the post of the Assistant professor posts
The details of posts in various discipline(s) are as below
1.Core Faculty Law 18 posts
2.Core Faculty English 1 post
AGE:-
(i) Candidates appearing for post of Assistant Professor must not be above 37 years of age as on 05.09.2018. However, the upper age limit is releasable in accordance with the orders issued by the Govt. of Arunachal Pradesh from time to time.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION:-
(l) Good academic record with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) at the Master’s Degree level (LL.M. & English) from an lndian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign University.
However, there is a relaxation of 5% marks that is from 55% to 50% marks at Masters Degree level for the ST/SC candidates.
(ii) The candidate must have cleared the National EligibilityTest (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET,
(iii) Candidates, who are, or have been awarded a Ph.D Degree in accordance with the university Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of Ph.D Degree) Regulations, 2609, shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum
eligibility condition of NET ISLET/SET for recruitment and appointment of Assistant Professor or equivalent positions in Universities/Colleges/institutions,
METHOD OF SELECTION:
The eligible candidates will have to appear in an interview/Viva-Voce test to be conducted by the Commission at ltanagar or any other place, which may be decided by the Commission.

Application form and Attendance sheet are to be downloaded from the Commission’s Website www.appsc.gov.in
FEE:
Rs. 100/- for APST candidates and Rs. 150/- for others in the form of DD/lPO in favor of Secretary, AP PSC, ltanagar, Arunachal Pradesh.
HOW T0 APPLY:
Along with the duly filled up Application form and Attendance
sheet, candidates must enclose the following documents, other wise the application will be rejected summarily.
LAST DATE OF RECEIPT OF APPLICATION:
The last date for receiving of application form by the Commission is up to 05.09.2018 till 4 PM. Application form received after closing date will not be accepted under any circumstances
